Makeup artist Lina Hanson was born and raised in Sweden. In 1997, Lina moved to London where she began working in the fashion industry. She later relocated to New York City to pursue her true passion — a career in the makeup industry. Lina was personally trained by celebrity makeup artist Jeanine Lobell, creator of Stila Cosmetics. Working for three years alongside Lobell, Lina mastered and refined her talent. Today, Lina has managed to establish a distinct image for herself in the versatile industry of makeup. She has since worked with some of Hollywood’s most celebrated artists such as Naomi Watts, Natalie Portman, Portia de Rossi, Jewel, Brooke Shields, and Mandy Moore, among others. She is the author of Eco-Beautiful: The Ultimate Guide to Natural Beauty and Wellness. Her work has appeared in publications such as Vogue, InStyle, W, and Elle, as well as on the runways for such top designers as Nicole Miller, Betsey Johnson, Nanette Lepore, Alice Roi, and Lilly Pulitzer. Lina has collaborated with some of the industry’s most well-known photographers including Ellen Von Unwerth, Nino Muñoz, Tom Ford, Art Schreiber, and Doug Inglish.
